For Ranchers & Cattlemen
Livestock & Cattle Trailer Repair
Stock · Cattle · Gooseneck · Bumper-Pull
Stock trailers take a beating — manure corrosion, bent gates, blown-out floors, and cracked welds around the high-stress joints. Halsey Fab rebuilds them tougher than factory so you can load, haul, and unload without worrying about what's under your stock.
We Know Where They Fail
Common Failures & How We Fix Them
What Kills Stock Trailers
- Manure & urine corrosion eating out the floor
- Bent center gates and sticky slam-latches

- Rusted-through lower rails and rock guards
- Sagging partitions and worn hinge points
Rebuilt Tougher Than Factory
- Corroded floors cut out and rebuilt in heavier material
- Gates & slam-latches straightened, rebuilt, and re-hung
- High-stress joints re-welded and gusseted to stop cracking
- Rails and guards replaced with new, thicker steel
- Partitions reinforced so they swing true under load
The Job That Matters Most
Corrosion Cut-Out & Floor Rebuilds
A stock trailer floor lives its whole life soaked in the worst thing you can put on steel. When it starts to go soft, patching it is a band-aid. We cut back to sound metal, replace crossmembers, and lay in new floor material — sized to carry the weight you actually haul, not the bare minimum.

Load & Unload Without a Fight
Gates, Latches & Partitions
Nothing eats time at the chute like a gate that won't latch or a partition that's dragging. We straighten bent gates, rebuild slam-latches, re-pin hinges, and reinforce cut gates and center dividers so everything moves the way it did the day the trailer was new — and holds up to a full load leaning on it.
Interior & rear gate repair · slam-latch rebuilds · partition and cut-gate reinforcement · custom mods.

Good Questions
Livestock Trailer Repair FAQ
Can you fix manure corrosion and rusted-out floors?
Yes — corrosion is the number-one killer of stock trailer floors. We cut out the rotted metal and crossmembers and rebuild with new, heavier material so it holds up to the next decade of loads, not just the next season.
Do you repair interior gates and slam-latches?
We do. Bent center gates, sticky slam-latches, sagging cut gates, and broken partitions all get repaired or rebuilt so they swing true and lock every time — even with a trailer full of cattle leaning on them.
Will you come to the ranch?
Yes. Our mobile rig covers the mid-Willamette Valley. If a loaded-out trailer can't make it to the shop, we bring the welder to your place.
